Founded in 1928, T.P. Outdoors started as a hardware/feed & seed store in Monroe, LA as Tyner Petrus Companies. A lot has changed since then. Today, there are two independent yet still family run T.P. Outdoors Stores with one in Monroe, LA and West Monroe, LA.
The West Monroe, LA store location still operates today as a True Value hardware store and sporting goods store complete with an indoor shooting range and from hunting to hardware, you’ll find just about everything you would expect and then some.
The Monroe location has dropped their hardware department as of this year making room for expended sporting goods offerings and is one of the areas top outdoor retailers. From the biggest deer stands to the smallest fishing lures, you’ll find a little bit of everything the outdoorsman needs.
T.P. Outdoors has been a client since about 2014. Around this time, we began filming the T.P. Outdoors Adventures TV show, a local outdoor TV show which airs weekly on Stations KTVE and KARD Fox 14, and helping out with various marketing projects for the two locations.
Our work has ranged from filming the TV show and producing TP Outdoors TV commercials and content as well as in store promotions and helping to manage the social media channels.
There have been hundreds of other projects we’ve been involved with for T.P. Outdoors. Way to many to list here. However, below, you’ll see just a small sample of some of the projects that we’ve worked on for T.P. Outdoors.
We’d love to help produce content to grow your business as well. From Photos and Videos, to ad design and so much more, contact us today and lets work together on your next marketing promotion.
Glynn and Mindy Kiper are North East Louisiana farmers with a passion for shooting sports. Like a lot of hobbies tend to do, their love of shooting the various disciplines of sporting clays grew into a business. They first built skeet and trap fields on a section of their farm near Mangham, Louisiana but were soon introduced to the sport of Helice shooting.
Helice shooting is an off shoot of live pigeon shoots that were popular for a time across Europe. Helice or ZZ birds as some call it, is some what similar to trap although 5 different target throwers with random presentations replace one trap machine. Helice targets are also not made of Clay used in traditional sporting clays targets. Instead they are made of orange plastic propellers with a center white cap. When a target is called for, the targets are already spinning and a single random target is released. If the shooter hits the target, the white center cap must be knocked free and fall within a ring or fence marked on the ground.
From the random nature of the targets to the materials used, All of these factors create a target that flys more like a live bird than any other form of competitive shooting. Where as a Trap tournament may require hundreds of targets to declare a winner, Helice tournaments are typically decided with just 30 targets.
Cottonland Gun Club now features four Helice rings of their own as well as Skeet, Trap, and soon a traditional Sporting Clays range. They’ve grown and continues to be one of the nations leading Helice tournament locations. The spring 2021 Helice Open tournament sanctioned by the US Helice Association was held at Cottonland Gun Club. Below is our most recent video produced for Cottonland Gun Club which features this event.
Starting in 2014, Riverbank Products was asked to film a short video highlighting a Helice tournament held at Kiper farms. The video was, at the time, one of the few Helice videos that could be found online. There were only aproximately four Helice rings found in the US. Since then, the sport of Helice has grown as has the Cottonland Gun club.
In 2020, Cottonland Gun Club’s website had become very dated and was due for a refresh. Mindy Kiper contacted us and we began developing a new web presence for their business. The new website incorporates their branding and provides better information, about the Shooting Range and upcoming events. Riverbank Products was also able to take current photos from their events. This makes sure guests actually know what to expect when planning to visit for their next tournament.
Riverbank Products also takes great action shots and event photos. Below are a few of the images caputured from the 2021 Spring Helice Open Tournament.

The Systems Group is a leading US based manufacturer of large industrial steel mill equipment in El Dorado, Arkansas. The equipment they produce can be massive and yet must be shipped to steel mills all over the US as well as overseas.
Products that are Made in the USA and create American jobs are near and dear to our heart. Riverbank Products was tapped to help document the fabrication and transportation of these giant pieces of equipment. We were eager to get started. We have now worked with The Systems Group on multiple projects to shoot product photos and video in fabrication, during transport and in use applications.
Check out what Systems Fab & Machine has to do to ship out mega-sized Spray-Cooled equipment. In this paricual piece, the furnace sidewall was cut into parts three pieces to legally ship out on state highways before being reassembled on site.
Last week, we did a real estate walk through video project for Netasha Williamson with Jan’s Realty. I used the DJI ronin M to shoot the video with my Sony A7Rii.
I don’t use this thing a lot because it just doesn’t fit well with the type of video I’ve been shooting the most. When filming a deer hunt or jumping on frogs and alligators, there is no time to setup a gimbal and I’m not carrying that thing to most of the muddy, nasty places we end up going with T.P. Outdoors Adventures. I’ve almost sold it a couple of times because of this alone.
But when I do use it, it’s usually for a commercial or some other type of shoot where I have a clean, environment as well as plenty of time to set it up. In those times, its pretty slick. I’m always amazed at the impossible shots that become possible with the Ronin.
In the most recent project I used it to film the majority of the walk through in one continuous flowing motion in one take. I wanted to create this shot to give viewers the ability to see the home almost as if they were there walking with us.
We did shoot a few other shots that were spliced in, and there were some still shots included in the video instead of video at the request of the clients, but those shots could have been done just as easily with the Ronin. The ability to make such a flowing shot as essential a one man band is so awesome.
You can view the video here as well as some still photos shot for this listing.
